I was feeling hopeless and ready to give up looking for answers when my son took me to see Danika for a program. I had spent the last 30 years in crippling pain and fatigue and taking many medications that didn't work. After following the guidance for a few months and making the diet changes in the program I couldn't believe the difference. I no longer need to take all that medicine and have my life back. I cannot thank you enough. I highly recommend Danika and Christian and the work they do.

Danika is an immensely insightful, intuitive and skilled healer. Her classes are THE most accessible, nourishing and deeply explanatory I've attended in my yogic practice. 

As a legally blind woman, she accommodates my special needs with great patience and compassion. For instance, my issues with balance have made me feel very despondent and despairing about my own abilities. Her care and guidance using the concept of 'stilling a candle flame from it's flickering' as a kinetic-sense stabilizer (rather than a visual focus point) was genius... and most effective! 

I highly recommend the Yoga Wellness Clinic and it's kaupapa - deeply spiritual heart & soul centered healing through yoga.... it's nutritional and delicious!!

For the last few years I have had issues with my back, primarily due to a fall injury I sustained while serving in one of NZ's branches of the military. Every morning involved waking up with pain and muscle spasms that lasted for hours before I was able to move freely. The injury prevented me from wanting to exercise in case it was aggravated and my condition worsened.

My fiancé convinced me to  attend the Yoga classes. I would say the transformation of my life in the short time we have been attending is just this side of miraculous. I no longer wake in pain, my flexibility has improved ten fold and I've found I can do more, more confidently with regards to everything from exercising to taking my two girls out for a walk without having to stop 20 minutes in because my back has seized up.

I am currently a full time mum and the weekly yoga classes are at a time when I can leave my baby with his dad (who works full time during the day) and have some time for myself. Attending the classes has provided me with exercises (breathing and physical) that help get me thru the day at home with a baby and ease the physical discomforts of lifting and carrying a child constantly, bending, etc. they also help to relax me at the end of the day so I have a better sleep. I have enjoyed seeing a range of people at the classes - of different ethnicities, sizes and fitness levels and ages. Some people I wouldn't think were 'typical' of a yoga class but have obviously come to try it out (and enjoyed it) because it is affordable.I have been truly impressed with your classes and how much knowledge you have to pass on and how much it has helped me. I'm sure it is the same for the other people in our class. Your classes provide a really important outlet for community members who otherwise may not get the opportunity to take part in yoga (me included).

I have much valued your classes and the benefit to my health both mental and physical has been so valuable to both me and my husband!  As an asthma sufferer, I can truly testify to the healing power of your yoga classes.  They have enabled me to reduce the volume of medications that I am on, and also relax to the point of calmness within the rest of the week.  I would do your class 5 times a week, if you were offering them!  The calmness that your class provides serves to calm the mind from the racing and hectic lives that we are all forced to live.  It is a rat race, that we are tied to that creates stress, and therefore dis-ease in our bodies.  Your Yoga class is such a fantastic way to allow ourselves the time to stop, breathe and listen to our bodies in a way that society does not allow us to do.

I really enjoyed Yoga, especially the emptying of the mind and the relaxation at the very end of class. Being a person who is constantly switched on to the point of getting migraines, I found your Yoga classes very calming. Sure I couldn't do some of the poses, not being that flexible, but you always offered levels that I was comfortable in trying.
