We cannot believe our little old man Cedric McDiggery discharged himself from our ‘maximum-security’ garden at Hoggiton last night! He is so clever, the first hog to escape and we have no idea how he did it! Luckily he was just about ready for release. Farewell out there little guy. You carry a piece of our hearts with you.
Cedric loves to play 'hide the schnoz' when the camera comes out!.. He will be ready for release very soon. The vet recently x-rayed his back legs after he took on a very strange walk (all OK thankfully) and was able to identify that he is an old man!. So happy he will have another shot out in the wild to complete his bucket list. Going to miss our grumpy old man.
Cedric is loving his new house with hobbit windows big enough for his schnoz! He is playing a game poking his nose out from one side of the box to the other with great determination. So cute!
Check out ma sweet new belly fuzz everyone!. I am getting a swanky new fur coat on my underside and new quills just started sprouting up top too. Woop woop! Love Cedric McD
Check me out on my new snuggle safe!. While you are at it, check out my lovely new smooth skin thanks to 'Oil of Olive' direct from our pantry range. Thank you very much for my new snuggle safe Helle. Me loves it.. and it warms my belly just nicely. Love Cedric 'Humper-Pants' McD xo
We got a big surprise with our little Cedric McDiggery this week. In our complete ignorance of hedgehog gendering, we originally thought he was a boy, then changed our minds and settled on him being a female, only to find him becoming overly friendly with his blanket, then his hot water bottle, and then everything else! When we finally realised he most definitely is a boy (and that it was not a 5th leg we were seeing!). We now bestow Cedric McDiggery with the nickname 'Mr Humper-Pants'. His behaviour is a great sign that he is well on his road to recovery.
